  • Alcohol Free Drinks

    Posted on August 5, 2022 by in A Pub

    We have all heard of Dry January and some of you may have incorporated it in to your life style but here at the Case we believe that low alcohol and no alcohol drinks are now a suitable alternative for the whole year. Many of the world’s biggest drinks companies have created ‘new and improved’ alcohol-free beers so recently the taste, quality and image of non-alcoholic beers and spirits have improved immensely. They also fit in with many people’s health and wellness attitudes, so we think they should be available as an alternative to the regular beers and spirits on offer. As attitudes change it is now not just the ‘designated driver’ who wishes to be alcohol free when visiting a pub. To meet this demand at the Case, we have gradually been extending our range of low/no alcohol drinks.

    At present we stock:

    • Heineken 00, 0% ABV. This is our first no alcohol lager and was introduced last month. It’s available in 330 ml bottles and is already becoming popular with customers;

    • Adnams Sole Star 0.5% ABV is a light amber ale available in 500 ml bottles;

    • Kopparberg Mixed Fruit Cider, 0.5% ABV which again comes in a 500 ml bottle;

    • Adnams Ghost Ship 0.5% ABV, this is a keg bitter which we’ve been offering for some time and, of course, because it’s on draught it means you can choose to order just a half pint rather than be faced with finishing a full 500ml bottle;

    • and, something a little different, a no alcohol spirit: Gordon’s 0.0% Dry Gin.

    By the way drinks that contain 0.5% ABV are considered alcohol free.

    Low Alcohol Drinks On The Bar

    Kopparberg Cider, Gordon’s 0.0% Dry Gin, Ghost Ship 0.5% Bitter, Heineken 00 Lager and Sole Star Amber Ale

    Of course we will also continue to stock a wide range of ‘soft’ drinks as these are always very popular. We also serve tea, coffee and hot chocolate for those who prefer something warmer.
