This year the Bentley Fireworks display will be held on the village playing field on Saturday 26th October. Gates open at 5:30pm; Bonfire lit at 6:00pm; Fireworks display at 7:00pm. The Case will open at 5pm that night and stay open until 11.30pm.
This marks the third year of the Bentley Firework display, which we hope will be as successful as previous years.
As before, there will be a BBQ (supplied by the Case), hot drinks and refreshments (supplied by the Church), mulled wine from the Witches Cauldron, plus light novelties for the children.
This year local children are invited to a free pumpkin with the purchase of their early bird ticket. They can be collected from outside the Bentley Community shop on Saturday 19th Oct between 1000 – 1200. It will be on a first come first served basis. The organisers would like them to be made into lanterns which will be displayed on the night of the 26th.
Don’t forget the chance for a child to start the night’s festivities with the Big Red Button to light the bonfire. Please put your contact details on the child ticket stub, and the lucky winner will be contacted on Friday evening.
Tickets will be on sale 3 weeks before the event and up until 1700 on Friday 25th from Bentley Community Shop, and the Case pub.
Adult early bird tickets £3.50 then £4 on the gate.
Children 5-16 years early bird tickets £2.50 and £3 on the gate.
There are a limited number of early bird tickets, so be sure to get yours in good time.
Please contact timhamstead@yahoo.co.uk if you have any firewood for the bonfire.
See you there!
