CAMRA Good Beer Guide 2020: We’re In It

The latest issue of the CAMRA Good Beer Guide has just been published and, for the third year running, we’re in it. We’re one of just 71 pubs in Suffolk to achieve the accolade of inclusion with 13 pubs from last year dropping out and 13 new entries coming in to replace them.

So congratulations to our team of cellar men for their sterling efforts in keeping all our beers in tip-top condition and in helping to ensure our continued inclusion in this important publication.

To put the above numbers into context, at the time of writing, CAMRA identify 591 pubs as open in Suffolk (547 serving real ale plus 44 ‘fizz only’ establishments) and on a more sober note, they identify a further 2372 Suffolk pubs that have closed over the years!
