5:00 pm: Fireworks' Night
We will be open from 5pm on Saturday 5 November to help you celebrate Bentley’s own Guy Fawkes Night. Bonfire and fireworks will take place on the village playing field.
On Saturday 22 April we will be holding another great music evening, with one of our regular Open Mic Night contributors, John Campbell. The evening is titled ‘Folk, Blues and Booze’. John will be joined by a couple of friends, Graham and Mark Kemp to bring us an evening of mixed folk and blues music. The music will start at around 8pm.
John plays acoustic guitar, harmonica and sings. Mark plays guitar, keyboards and squeezebox; Graham also plays keyboards and bass guitar. Music will include blues drawn from notable artists of the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s, whilst the folk elements will be drawn from more contemporary singer/songwriters such as Al Stewart, Carole King, Donovan, Alan Hull et al. Audience participation is very much encouraged.
