Live Music and More: 8th June 2024

On Saturday 8th June we will be holding another live music event in the pub garden. We have some of Bentley’s very own musical talent and a few of our regular Open Mic Night guests to perform for you. Just bring a deckchair and sit back and enjoy the entertainment.

We will be offering food in the form of a BBQ during the afternoon and Indian curries from a van in the car park during the early evening. The pub will be open from 1pm. The BBQ starts at 1:30pm. The music will begin around 2pm. Between 4pm – 8pm, the very popular street food vendors, Suffolk Spice Fusion, will be with us selling their delicious Northern Indian cuisine.

Food from the BBQ will include Burgers, Hot-dogs and Veggie Burgers, all served with options of onions on the side and a variety of sauces.

UPDATE 31/5/2024: It’s now possible to announce the afternoon’s music will include performances from local artists Julie and Paul, Ed, Will and the Random Pieces band.

Julie and Paul

Julie and Paul bio:

A unique singer and guitar double act who regularly support The Case open mic night nights. They play well known songs from the 60s through to the current day with a beautiful blend of guitar and melodic vocal harmonies.

Ed

Ed bio:

Ed is a resident of Bentley and is often heard playing at The Case open mic nights. He has a wonderful original sound with his own creative music and guitar vibes. His indie rock and folk music selections demonstrate his creativity and originality. Ed’s character and personality shine through his music.

Will

Will Foley bio:

A 28 year old singer songwriter and BBC Introducing ‘artist to watch’ for 2023. His poetic lyrics accompanied by beautiful melody and flowing guitar hooks are the perfect blend of distinct indie, folk and pop. He has been a regular performer at The Case open mic nights and has headlined in the best local venues in East Anglia. He now lives in North London where he is focusing on his music career. Will has recorded two albums and is currently working on new material. Check out his social media @willfoleyofficial.

Random Pieces bio:

A great local band full of familiar faces. Look out for your neighbours and friends as they roll back the years to entertain us with some well known hits from the 60s through to the current day. Get your dancing shoes on and enjoy the afternoon with a perfect blend of Bentley’s musical talent.
