A very well-deserved recognition of the work our chef, Becky, puts in to keeping the kitchen up to scratch. It’s not an easy job, by any means; as well as the obvious high standards of hygiene required, the kitchen’s processes are also assessed. Are there clear instructions on how to use the dishwasher displayed? Do all paid staff understand the colour coding of the pub’s mops? Are dirty carrots washed in the agreed processing area? Is every allergen in a particular dish understood? – there are an awful lot of possible questions. And Babergh don’t hand out a 5-star rating to everyone! We’re delighted, and very proud of Becky and the team!
