What a fantastic day we’ve had today, when we opened our doors to the public for the first time since we took ownership of The Case earlier this week.
Over 200 people came to see the pub over the course of this afternoon – and we weren’t even serving any food or drink! Just imagine what it’ll be like when we’re fully up and running!
We’ve had many offers of help today with the repairs, refurbishment and with running the pub when we’re open, not to mention new investment pledges (more on that from our Treasurer, Peter, in his next blog).
We’d like to thank everyone who came along today and helped make it such a success, as well as those who helped with the clear-up over the last few days. Thanks also to Garry Simmonds for this excellent photo.
