Bentley Children’s Play Area Needs Your Support!

A planning application has been submitted for a village play area to be constructed on the school playing field next to the pub garden. To view details of the application visit the Babergh District Council website and key the reference B/14/00589 into the Application Number field.

The children of Bentley desperately need a play area where they can come together in safety, and the committee of Bentley Community Pub warmly welcome this development. A play area so close to the pub and, hopefully in the near future our new community shop, will really help to establish this site as the hub of the village.

Over the past year our efforts to save The Case and get it up and running again have attracted huge support from the community. Now we appeal to all our wonderful supporters to get behind another much-needed village amenity that will be enjoyed for generations to come.
