We are delighted to pass on the news that yet again The Case is Altered has been awarded the Cask Marque for another year. As always our cask beers were tested for temperature, aroma, appearance and taste during an unannounced inspector’s visit. We came through with flying colours and the Cask Marque assessor congratulated the cellar team on their excellent ales and condition, giving extra feedback on the official report as ‘Beers on good form’.
So a big shout out to all those involved in keeping our cellar in great shape and making sure we have the best cask ales possible. Many thanks to Andrew, Dave, Mike and Roy.
The renewal certificate is on display by the main entrance so you can scan the QR code with your smart phone to participate in the World’s Biggest Ale Trail. Visit www.cask-marque.co.uk for more information.
UPDATE 11/7/21: We are pleased to announce that we have again been awarded a ‘Certificate of Excellence’, from Cask Marque for our cask beers and our accreditation has therefore been renewed for 2021! Now we suspect that there may have been some disruption at Cask Marque caused by the pandemic as this award is around 6 months overdue but we hope that come 2022, normal testing and accreditation proceedings will prevail again.
