Easter Food and Opening Hours

In addition to our usual Wednesday-to-Sunday opening hours, we’ll be open on bank holiday Monday lunchtime from 12:00-4:00 pm (food served 12:00-3:00). Booking for food is recommended – we were full last Sunday and wouldn’t want to disappoint.

Duane and Cindy have decided to move on to new opportunities – we thank them for their efforts and wish them well. We have a relief chef, Alex, who will be with us for the next month or two while we recruit permanent replacements, ably assisted by Ellen in the kitchen.

Alex will be bringing out a new Spring menu, with an emphasis on freshly-cooked, locally-sourced, classic pub favourites and specials. For details of our menu on the day, please call the pub during opening hours and our volunteers will be happy to assist.

Quiz Night: Saturday 26 March

Our next monthly quiz night takes place this Saturday, 26 March, starting at 9:00 pm. £2 entry per person, maximum team size 6. Winners receive drinks tokens to spend at the pub, losers get a wooden spoon!

Please note that on Saturday evening, we will only be serving food until 8:00 pm.

Childrens Easter Egg Hunt: Sunday 27 March

We will be having an Easter Egg Hunt in the pub garden (weather permitting!) on Easter Sunday, at around 2:00 pm.
