Macmillan Coffee Morning: 26th Sep 2020

We will be holding our third Macmillan coffee morning at the Case on Saturday 26th September 2020 from 10am to 1pm. All proceeds go to Macmillan Cancer Support.

This year will be a bit different to previous ones as it will be a socially distanced event held in the gardens.

As well as coffee or tea there will, of course, be home-made cakes and also some savoury snacks such as sausage rolls. There will be a raffle for a luxury hamper as well as a competition. There will also be suitable containers available for people who wish to buy cakes to take home, so why not take the opportunity to stock up?

Donations of home-made cakes will be gratefully received. They may be brought along on the morning of the event.

Please come along and support Macmillan. You, or someone you know, might need them one day.

UPDATE 3/1/21: As a footnote to this article, we are pleased to report that the Coffee Morning raised a total of £1,802 and we’ve had the following letter from Macmillan explaining what a difference such a sum of money is likely to make.
