The Case and Covid-19

UPDATE 5/7/20: The first phase of re-opening the Case will commence on Friday 10th July when we will be offering off-sales of draught beer. Please see our re-opening news item for details..

As a result of the current health crisis, the Case will be closing as of 2.30 pm Friday 20th March until further notice.

For the rest of this week (until Friday lunchtime) we intend to be open for a reduced number of hours each day, from 12.00 – 2.30 pm and in the evening from 6.00 – 10.00 pm.

We had hoped that by adopting more stringent cleaning practices, scaling back on pub events and reducing opening hours we would be able to continue to offer a service (albeit on a limited basis) but we have concluded that closing is the only practical option for us.

But we will be back when the situation changes. In the meantime we wish the best to all our customers, supporters and the wider community. Please stay safe and follow the NHS guidelines.
