12:00 pm: Summer Bank Holiday
12:00 pm to3:00 pm
Last night, at the Case re-opening, it was busy but calm with everyone spread out across the garden and social distancing rules carefully observed. What’s more, we enjoyed great weather and fantastic beer!
If you’d like to join us tonight or on some other occasion, please be patient whilst waiting to be served – our bar volunteers will get to everyone as fast as they can but please bear with us as there’s a lot of ground for them to cover.
UPDATE 19/4/21: This is a footnote to draw your attention to the QR codes pinned to all the tables in the pub garden – an example is shown in the above photo – it’s the fuzzy black and white dotted square, click on the image for a larger view. The QR code is there to help pub-goers register with the NHS Test and Trace system.
It’s now a government requirement that everybody over 16 has to sign in when they visit a pub – and that’s individually; not just one person on behalf of a group. Pens and paper are available for people who don’t have a smartphone, but the easiest option is to use the NHS COVID-19 app on your phone. You simply select the “Check in to a venue” option within the app (see the first menu option in this screenshot), hold the phone over the QR code and it will automatically scan the code and display a green tick meaning you’ve registered with the system. You can get the app from https://www.covid19.nhs.uk/
