5:00 pm: Fireworks' Night
We will be open from 5pm on Saturday 5 November to help you celebrate Bentley’s own Guy Fawkes Night. Bonfire and fireworks will take place on the village playing field.
I started to write this report yesterday by saying it is always darkest before the dawn – today I can see the sun rising! In just two days another £20k has arrived while there is a small residue to add from last week – poor old Stewart had to upgrade his board twice today & I know from neighbours there is a lot more to come. As I felt the other week it is going to be an exciting run to see if we can hit the target we have set ourselves.
Because we are in such a volatile state I am going to keep this short & just issue the simple figures but would draw your attention to the fact one of our early £5k investors had doubled that investment making the third to invest £10k. I also have a strong feeling there is at least one more investor out there waiting to show their hand!
I am still @ The Corral (on 01473 310410) to answer any questions or receive investors’ cheques.
So on to the newly adjusted figures as @ mid PM Monday:
All makes a current total of £ 127,050 from 92 investors making an average investment of £1,380.
One statistic I would like to share is that we may have now attracted 25% of the households in Bentley to join us – which I know we are all finding inspiring. We just need to get out & deliver more of the yellow window support leaflets to those investors… we will get back to you!
I will produce an update late Wednesday for publication Thursday when I hope to share more exciting news. Sunday night I will compile the result of the 6 week offer to publish Monday.
