Work in full swing!

The pub is beginning to look very exciting – some parts of it are almost ready, others are at the stage when things look worse before they can get better!

The gardens are looking lovely already, and work is in full swing on the repair and redecoration work in the bar areas. We have work for the oldest to the youngest volunteers, and anyone in between…

Things are progressing inside and out, from finding the surface of the car park to paint parties moving in as soon as the plaster has dried! David is in the pub working away most days, if anyone wants to pop in and lend a hand.

The Committee will be setting the opening date in stone very soon. We now have a volunteer co-ordinator – if you are willing to do a shift cleaning or behind the bar, and we don’t already have your details, please drop us a line via the Contact Us button. We will be training bar volunteers as soon as the cellar refit has completed, which (hopefully) won’t be long now!

I can’t wait to see our lovely pub full of life again!
